Timmy Jordan Tops SK Modifieds At New London-Waterford Speedbowl

Reigning SK Modified champion Timmy Jordan of Plainfield held off Cory DiMatteo to score his first victory of the 2021 season in the 35-lap feature for the division Saturday at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.

DiMatteo, of Farmington, was second and Todd Owen of Somers third. 

Ray Christian III of Uncasville won the 30-lap Late Model feature. 

Jordan Hadley of Waterford was second and Chase Curtis of Rutland, Mass. third. 

Al Stone III of Durham topped the field in the 25-lap Street Stock feature. 

Shawn Gaedeke of Groton was second and Jason Chicolas of Sutton, Mass. third. 

Tyler Chapman of Ellington won the 50-lap Truck feature. Jim Boyle of East Windsor was second and Randy Burr of Middleboro, Mass. third.

John O’Sullivan of Salem led the way in the 20-lap Legends feature. Jordan Churchill of Lisbon was second and PJ Evans of Uncasville third.

    Christopher was on rails until whatever happened to his car. Was probably on his way to his first sk win at the bowl.

    Good to see Jr. running a full season at the bowl this year. It seems he enjoys the awesome atmosphere and track itself. But that track surface though. Absolutely horrible according to our resident engineer. Wait what was that noise I just heard? Oh nevermind. It was just dafellas head exploding. 😂😂😂🤡
