Former Modified Racing Series champion Anthony Nocella returned to series action triumphantly Saturday at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine.
Nocella, of Woburn, Mass., topped the field to win the 75-lap Modified Racing Series feature Saturday at Oxford.
Jacob Perry of Pawcatuck was second and Brian Robie of Sunapee, N.H. third.
Stafford Speedway SK Modified division regular David Arute of Tolland, making his first career Modified Racing Series start, was fourth.
Rob Richardi Jr. of Easton, Mass. rounded out the top-five.
