   Congratulations to Shawn Courchesne who will be the recipient of the Ratta/Mitchell Media Award at the annual New England Auto Racing Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Nov. 14.
   Recognition overdue in my view and a foreshadowing of full induction into the NEAR Hall of Fame at some point in the future.
   You don’t need to agree with everything that comes out of RaceDayCt or how it’s done. Local racing needs a media hub fans can go to for race related stories and information. RaceDayCt is it and it only exists because of the iron will and hard work of one guy.
   Production, consistency and availability over time should be recognized. No one produces more race related content on a consistent basis while being available throughout the year then Shawn Courchesne and does it taking a load of crap in the process.

We all think you’re the best source of info for our favorite sport, but it’s wonderful to see you get some major recognition for your hard work! The list of past winners is an incredible group of people who’s love and dedication to northeast racing is outstanding and beyond reproach. You truly deserve to be on that list!!

   Congrats on the recognition Shawn. It is a well deserved honor. I honestly dont know where I would get information on local auto racing without this site. For that I thank you. I also appreciate you putting up with us in the comment section. Sometime my posts are correct, sometimes they are wrong, but I do learn a lot from user comments.

Thanks for all your hoop jumping and story writing, I truly enjoy it and get my information from RDC ….. Thanks for allowing Us to have the TOP 5 Pick’em Pools , … They have been really fun for everyone involved and one thing we can agree on amongst the various posters and personalities. Hopefully the Atomic Punk can rejoin the group after some time in the penalty box……
