Visiting victory lane is becoming a weekly occurrence for teenager Andrew Molleur at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.
Last week the Shelton driver was celebrating victory in the SK Modified division feature.
This week it was a return trip to victory lane for Molleur in his Late Model.
Molleur won the second 30-lap Late Model feature of the night Saturday at the Speedbowl. It was the third Late Model win of the season at the Speedbowl for Molleur.
Molleur will go from double-duty to triple duty next week at the Speedbowl when he runs with the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series in addition to the SK Modified and Late Model features.
Ray Christian III of Uncasville was second and Jordan Hadley of Waterford third.
In the first Late Model feature of the night it was a flip-flop of positions with Christian besting Molleur. Matt Lowinski-Loh of Milford, Mass was third.
Al Stone III of Durham, the track’s all-time winningest Street Stock division winner, added to his record total with a win in the 25-lap Street Stock feature. Aaron Plemons of Uncasville was second and Shawn Gaedeke of Groton third.
Emma Monahan of Waterford picked up her second win of the season in the 25-lap Truck feature. Kyle Gero of Uncasville was second and Tyler Chapman of Mystic third.
Tom Abele Jr. of Norwich won the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature. Nick Hovey of Chaplin was second and Ever Bourgeois of East Haddam third
