Tim Jordan Wins SK Modified Feature At New London-Waterford Speedbowl

A week off proved to be the perfect elixir for Tim Jordan at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl. 

Jordan sat out of the Aug. 13 SK Modified event at the Speedbowl. Saturday night he returned to the track, and to victory lane. 

Jordan won the 35-lap SK Modified feature Saturday at the Speedbowl. 

It was the second victory of the season for Jordan, of Plainfield and his 11th SK Modified win overall at the Speedbowl. 

Todd Owen of Somers was second and Eric Berndt of Cromwell third.

Andrew Molleur of Shelton scored victory in the 30-lap Late Model feature. It was the fourth Late Model win of 2022 at the Speedbowl for Molleur. 

Ray Christian III of Uncasville was second and Doug Curry of Groton third.

John O’Sullivan of Salem won the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature.

Isaiah Newcomb of Plymouth was second and Tom Abele Jr. of Norwich third. 

Al Stone III of Durham won the 25-lap Street Stock feature. Shawn Gaedeke of Groton was second and Aaron Plemons of Uncasville third. 

John Bavolacco of Stratford got is first career win in the 25-lap Mini Stock feature.

Chris Garside of Groton was second and Sam Mesick of East Lyme third

    its ok Doug your statement is accurate however Thompson is suffering worse than the speed bowl. the owners there don’t have any “convictions” except to gaff whoever would be foolish enough to promote the oval ! LOL. the bowl will continue to operate as a race track .gosh all those people, competitors and sponsors willing to make one big event succeed and overlook the obvious ..why Doug ? tell me why?
