
NEW SMYRNA, Fla. – The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour kicked off its 2023 season with the running of the New Smyrna Visitor’s Bureau 200 Saturday at New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway.
When it was over it was former series champion Ron Silk was celebrating his first Whelen Modified Tour victory since 2021.

it’s not your Daddy’s Modified with 400’s in front and 175 – 200 in rears ..
technology has found it’s way into the Oldest Division in NASCAR…
i have been learning these soft spring big bar set up for last few years..
you gotta relearn quite a few things … with pull down rigs etc etc… .
