New London-Waterford Speedbowl Cancels Saturday Night Racing Card

The Saturday night racing card at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl has been cancelled due to weather concerns.

A statement from track management read: “With the forecast calling for rain at exactly the time we would have on-track activities and drivers from the Northeastern Midget Association traveling from far distances, we have to make the decision to cancel tonight’s events.”

The NEMA and the NEMA Lites events will be added to the track’s Aug. 19 event.

Next Saturday’s event at Waterford will be headlined with the 43-lap Billy Greco/Terry Baribeault Memorial for the SK Modified division.
