Anyone know how much to get in. I spent 20 minutes looking for general admission price and I couldn’t find it. Went on Star website and their facebook page looked at their schedule,.I did a search of a few press releases. It seems to be a big secret. What I did learn, which is pretty cool, Star has a show on Friday for 5 dollars where you can buy a ticket for Saturday and save five dollars off Saturday admission. What that Saturday admission is remains a mystery. or at least I can’t find it. I had no problem finding out the price for Friday, Its highlighted on facebook in press releases I think they may call it the five-dollar Friday show. No secret there.
Car counts for tour types aren’t great right now and I fully expect them to deteriorate further as the season goes on. There is just too many tour type events for the number of drivers and car owners who can afford to run these cars. Money tightens as the season goes on. Everyone saw it coming when you looked at the various schedules at the beginning of the season. You could pretty much run a tour type event every weekend from the Spring Sizzler until the World Series. Many weekends you have choices as to what tour type modified event you want to attend.
Now someone post the price and make me look like an idiot because I cant find it.
CSG,
You’re right. I just dug all around the Star website and can’t find anywhere with any prices listed for Saturday.
Shawn and CSG,
Someone asked on the Star Speedway Facebook page last night about Saturday prices. The track replied that general admission is $30 at the track on Saturday or $25 if you buy tickets at the Friday event. Didn’t mention if there were kid’s prices or anything like that. I agree that sort of information should definitely be listed somewhere on the track website or in advertising.
Capt. Mike is right, info is in their “race preview” article. $30 on raceday.
Thanks Shawn and CMO
I couldn’t find the price anywhere. I appreciate it.
Fast Eddie,
Thank you. The “race preview” article was not on their website yesterday.
Anytime Shawn! Glad to help!
