American-Canadian Tour 2024 Schedule Released

(Press Release from American-Canadian Tour)

Officials have released the 2024 American-Canadian Tour schedule of events. While one date will be announced as officials continue to deliberate between several offers on both sides of the US/Canadian border, the current schedule already shows nine unique ovals between five New England states and the Canadian province of Quebec. Of the thirteen posted dates, eight include events that are at least $5,000 to win, three of them bringing at least $10,000 to win!

As in the past three years, the 2024 American-Canadian Tour begins with the fourth annual Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, paying $5,500 to win on the Magic Mile and start the year off hot! Two weeks later ACT returns to its Maine home at Oxford Plains Speedway for the Pine Tree State 125 on Sunday, April 28. The stars and cars of the ACT Tour return to Oxford for a second 125-lap headliner on Saturday, August 24 during the 51st annual Oxford 250 weekend.

May finds the ACT chasers at home in Barre, Vermont for the 26th annual Community Bank N.A. 150, headlining opening weekend at Thunder Road International Speedbowl on May 4 and 5. ACT will be back for the 46th Labor Day Classic 200 presented by NEFCU/VSECU on Sunday, September 1 with $5,000 waiting for the winner and a chance to have their name etched in Barre granite. The $100,000 62nd Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank on October 5 and 6 will once again be an ACT 100%er event for the full time ACT title teams with a guaranteed $12,000 winner share for the historic event.

ACT will also take its first of two trips across the Canadian border in May for the $5,000 to win Claude Leclerc 150 at Vallee-Jonction, Quebec’s Autodrome Chaudiere on Saturday, May 18. The popular Quebec oval provides some of the best racing on the ACT circuit, continuing to pack the seasonal highlight reels with plenty of three-wide passing and lead swapping!

June sees the 49th edition of the Spring Green 124 back in the Bay State for another action-packed event at Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, June 8. The ACT faithful also return to Epping, New Hampshire’s Star Speedway in June for the Great Bay 150 on Saturday, June 22.

The American-Canadian Tour returns to Quebec’s Autodrome Montmagny for the $10,000 to win CAN-AM 200 on July 20. Another anchor track of the Serie ACT Quebec sister-series, Montmagny’s unique layout was mastered by Derek Gluchacki in 2023 to put the Quebec teams on notice in the annual cross-border competition.

New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park brings the 7th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250, one of the Tour’s most popular events since its inception in 2018. The $10,000 to win event has annually drawn some of the region’s top Late Model competition from both sides of the US/Canada border. ACT will return to its New Hampshire home for the $5,000 to win 46th Fall Foliage 200 on Saturday, September 21.

After discussions with several teams, the American-Canadian Tour returns to Thompson Speedway during the 62nd Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing on Saturday, October 12. The Sunoco World Series 75 will pay $5,000 to win and currently sits as the second event of the Brookside Equipment Sales Southern New England Triple Crown following the Spring Green at Seekonk Speedway.

“We’ve put together a strong schedule already for 2024, keeping our teams in mind with some free time to recuperate and, hopefully, join in on some great local racing across New England and Quebec outside the Tour,” said ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. “We still have one date to decide on after having several great offers to consider. Those decisions will be out soon.”
