ACT Championship Set With Haunted Hundred At Seekonk Speedway On November 2

(Press Release from American-Canadian Tour)

Officials from Seekonk Speedway, the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series and American-Canadian Tour jointly announced Friday that the popular Haunted Hundred will return to Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, November 2, 2024! The Haunted Hundred will be the championship crowning event for the Monaco Modifieds, the American-Canadian Tour and the Brookside Equipment Sales Southern New England Triple Crown complete with a special Street Stock Open!

Today’s announcement puts the final piece of the puzzle in place for the American-Canadian Tour, finalizing a 13-event schedule for the 2024 season. Seekonk Speedway will host two important events for the international touring series during the 2024 season starting with the 49th Spring Green 124 on June 8 and finishing with the Tour championship-determining Haunted Hundred on November 2. Seekonk has hosted the ACT championship event in the past, leading to some of the most intense and memorable battles in the entire forty-six-year run of the Tour.

Both Seekonk events, plus the special $5,000-to-win showdown during the Sunoco World Series at Thompson Speedway on October 12, will count towards the Brookside Equipment Sales Southern New England Triple Crown. 2024 marks the second season that Brookside Equipment has supported the Southern New England Triple Crown and the second time that the Haunted Hundred has wrapped up the series!

The Haunted Hundred also marks the final of an eight-race slate for the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series this year. Their exciting schedule features two new tracks in Thompson Speedway and White Mountain Motorsports Park, alongside popular return visits to Thunder Road, New London-Waterford Speedbowl, Star Speedway, Stafford Speedway and, of course, Seekonk Speedway!

Saturday, November 2 brings the return of the Haunted Hundred to Seekonk Speedway, headlined as the championship event for both the American-Canadian Tour and the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series. A special Street Stock Open will also compete during the Haunted Hundred, more information will be available in the near future.

Brookside Equipment Sales in Phillipston, Massachusetts is just an hour outside of Thompson and less than two hours from Seekonk! Visit them online at www.brooksideequipment.com/default.htm to view their inventory, auction schedule and contact information.

Wonder if they will let campers camp out for that weekend at Seekonk? Last time we went to Seekonk they said that the town didn’t allow campers any more. There were a lot of people who came down from Canada for the ACT race that camped out at Waterford.

I’ve never seen camping at Seekonk. Last time I went to the 100 people were camping at a hotel parking lot. Looked like fun.
