NEW SMYRNA, Fla. – The 2024 season for the NASCAR Whelen Modified kicked off Saturday with the running of the New Smyrna Beach Area Vistors Bureau 200 at New Smyrna Speedway.

For the second consecutive season it was Ron Silk in victory lane for the event, kicking off defense of his 2023 series championship in perfect fashion.
