Whelen Modified Tour Miller Lite Salutes Wayne Anderson 200 Postponed

The Whelen Modified Tour Miller Lite Salutes Wayne Anderson 200 originally scheduled for Saturday has been postponed to Sunday at 2:30 pm.

NASCAR officials had originally moved the start of the event up from 8 pm to 5:30 pm early Saturday afternoon.

Ultimately, qualifying for the event was cancelled as persistent showers lingered in the area. The decision to postpone the event was made just before 6:30 pm.

Craig Lutz led the way in practice before rain put a halt to festivities at the track.

  1. Riverhead just can’t catch a break on their tour races lately. Keep taking it on the chin.

They really need to go back to using practice times to set the starting spots. 1/3 of your field is making their first start. Some of which are quite quick here. And they are starting in the back. Probably some teams rethinking even racing at that point.
