Jon Puleo Scores SK Modified Victory At New London-Waterford Speedbowl

The trend of variety at the top of the SK Modified division in 2024 at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl continued Saturday at the shoreline oval. 

Jon Puleo of Branford topped the field in the 35-lap SK Modified feature Saturday at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl. 

Puleo became the fourth different winner in four SK Modified events at the Speedbowl in 2024. Puleo joined Timmy Jordan, Anthony Flannery and Eric Berndt as an SK Modified division winner in 2024 at the Speedbowl. 

Kyle James of Ashawy, R.I. was second and Andrew Molleur of Shelton third. 

Edward Gomarlo of Swanzey, N.H. topped the field in the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature. 

Nickolas Hovey of Chaplin was second and Tyler Barry of Griswold third. 

Duane Noll of Monroe won the 50-lap Truck feature.

Tyler Chapman of Mystic was second and Charles Beal of Ledyard third.

Aaron Plemons of Uncasville won the 25-lap Street Stock feature. Al Stone III of Durham was second and Chad Baxter of Pascoag, R.I. third. 

Jase Mongeon of Charlton, Mass. won the 25-lap Legends feature.
