With a flooded infield and forecasts for more rain to come later this afternoon and evening, New London-Waterford Speedbowl officials have called off tonight’s racing card at the shoreline oval.
A Facebook statement from the track read: “Unfortunately there’s too much water to move, and we are unable to get everything cleared out in time to put on a quality event for our competitors and fans. We are canceled for today.”
