The roster of winners in the SK Modified division in 2024 at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl grew more on Saturday.
Andrew Molleur topped the 35-lap SK Modified feature Saturday at the Speedbowl.
Molleur, of Shelton, became the seventh different winner over 10 features for the division at Waterford in 2024.
Eric Berndt of Cromwell was second and Jon Puleo of Brandford third.
Molleur sits tied with Anthony Flannery at the top of the tight SK Modified standings at the Speedbowl. Tim Jordan is third in the standings, one point off the lead. Three-time reigning division champion Todd Owen is fourth, five points off the lead. Berdnt is fifth, eight points off the top spot.
Palmer, of Berlin, topped the 30-lap Late Model feature Saturday at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.
It was the 105th career victory at the Speedbowl for Palmer. Keith Rocco leads the track’s all-time win list with 154 victories and Phil Rondeau is second with 107.
It was Palmer’s 52nd career Late Model victory. He also has 53 Legends division victories at the Speedbowl.
Palmer, who has Late Model championships at the Speedbowl in 2015, 2020, 2021 and 2023, currently lead the division standings.
Aaron Plemons of Uncasville was second in Saturday’s feature and Devin Deshaies of Oakland, R.I. was third.
David Lee of Norwich won the 25-lap Mini Stock feature. David Dorr of Gales Ferry was second and John Bavolacco of Stratford was third.
Tyler Chapman of Mystic topped the 25-lap Truck feature. Brad Strickland of Uncasville was second and Troy Prentice of Quaker Hill was third.
Zachary Martinez won the 25-lap Legends feature. Riley Paul of Ledyard was second and PJ Evans of Uncasville third.
