The Crown Vics are coming!!
The New London Waterford Speedbowl will have a new division at the 3/8ths mile shoreline oval: The Crown Vic division will make its debut at Blast-Off Weekend, May 2nd thru 4th , 2025.
This division began in the Southeastern United States, and has been growing into the northeast over the last few years. The Crown Vic division is designed as an entry level, affordable option, perfect for anyone wanting to get into competitive weekly racing.
This division is open to new drivers, drivers with limited racing experience, and drivers looking to move up from the INEX Legends and Bandolero divisions into a full size race car.
The division is modeled from the same basic rules used across the country comprised of 1995 and newer Crown Victoria’s, Mercury Grand Marquis, and Lincoln Town Cars, where keeping the cars very stock and affordable is a priority. As the season goes on, this division is sure to grow and become a fan favorite.
