Predictions: Justin Bonsignore Tops NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Preseason Poll

Last year Justin Bonsignore and Ron Silk engaged in a season-long battle for supremacy at the top of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour standings.

When the dust settled it was Bonsignore and his Ken Massa owned team celebrating a fourth Whelen Modified Tour championship.

On Feb. 8 at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna, Fla. the 2025 Whelen Modified Tour kicks off its 16-race season.

So what will the top-10 in the Whelen Modified Tour standings look like when all is said and done for 2025 in October?

We arranged an informal poll with 30 local racing personalities making their predictions for the 2025 season.

Here’s the format. Each person submitted their prediction for how the top-10 in the Whelen Modified Tour standings would look like when the season is over.

We compiled points for each driver with a first place vote earning 10 points, a second place vote earning nine points and so on down through 10 positions.

Our voting panel included: Paul Arute, Penny Aicardi, Ed Bennett, Mitch Bombard, Doug Coby, Shawn Courchesne, Brian Danko, Sid DiMaggio, Ben Dodge, Denise DuPont, Jim DuPont, Stu Fearn, Sean Foster, Tom Fox, Tim Jordan, Rich Keator, Cale King, Fran Lawlor, Andrew Molleur, Tom Morris, Derek Pernesiglio, Scott Running, Bobby Santos III, Joe Skotnicki, Kyle Souza, Rob Summers, Scott Tapley, Bonssa Tufa, Shawn Waddell and Dale Wolbrink.
