
Nickolas Hovey topped the field in the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature Saturday at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.
It was the second victory in six starts this season at the Speedbowl for the Chaplin driver.
Evan Bourgeois of East Haddam was second and Tyler Chapman of Ellington third.
Chapman leads the division standings with Hovey six points off the lead in second. Robert Bloxsom III is third in the standings, seven points behind Chapman. Kevin Davis is nine points off the lead at fourth in the standings.
Randy Cole Jr. of Middleton, Mass. scored his first career victory in the 30-lap Late Model feature.
Shawn Gaedeke of Groton was second and Brody Monahan of Waterford was third.
Aaron Plemons of Uncasville followed up a Street Stock victory Friday at Stafford Speedway by winning the 25-lap Street Stock feature at the Speedbowl.
Jordan Hadley of Waterford was second and Al Stone III of Durham was third.
Ray Christian III of Uncasville topped the 25-lap Min Stock feature.
Chris Garside of Groton was second and Andrew Krezminski of East Hampton was third.
Jaysin Beal of Ledyard won the 25-lap Truck feature. Dylan Freeman of Unionville won the 25-lap Legends feature.
