One of the overriding themes this year in the Street Stock division at Stafford Speedway has been the Stafford Guys versus the Speedbowl Guys theme. It’s made for a fun storyline though at times has created some ugliness.
Aaron Plemons, PJ Evans and Shawn Monahan have been the guys that some entrenched at Stafford have labeled as “The Speedbowl Guys”.
But is there a poacher in the midst?

I applaud Monahan for what he’s trying to do here in this Situation.He went live tonight on his Facebook Page and Explained what this was about and his desire to raise the Car Count for this Event.You certainly can’t expect Waterford to do Anything in Regards to Speaking to Competitors,Or Reaching Out in Any Way.If anyone knew the incompetence or the lack of enthusiasm behind the scenes there it would boggle the mind.Monahan claims he spoke to one of the Arutes and his intentions seem to be genuine.Like I mentioned….Anyone who wants or tries to bring any ideas to Speedbowl Management or Ownership does so at their own Peril.The could care less about Fans or Competitors.It will be interesting to see if the Monahan Ideas and Promotion for this Event will bear fruit.I wish them Well As far as invaders,Waterford guys,outsiders,this has been created by bloggers and fans to be controversial and bring attention to their own cause and egos.Any car that meets a Racetracks Rules for a Specific Division is Usually welcomed and allowed to compete.Ive never seen it differently at any Track in the Northeast on any Given Day or For any Event.
