RaceDayCT Poll: Who Has The Best Championship Story At Stafford In 2025?


Stafford Speedway crowned its five weekly division champions on Friday at NAPA Champions Night. Today’s poll asks, who has the best championship story in 2025? Vote below.

Jon Puleo – SK Modified: Lost the points lead in the penultimate event of the season and then rallied in the final race to score his first division title. 

Paul Varricchio Jr. – Late Model: 22-year veteran at Stafford who spent more than a decade in the division before getting his first Late Model win in 2024. Won the title this year despite missing an event. 

Meghan Fuller – SK Light Modified: The third female driver in track history to win a championship, joining 2006 SK Light Modified champion Shelly Perry and 2021 Limited Late Model champion Alexandra Fearn. Daughter of former NASCAR Modified Tour champion Rick Fuller. 

Travis Hydar – Limited Late Model: Follows up a record setting 11-win season in the Street Stock division in 2024 by scoring a division leading four victories and a championship as a rookie in the Limited Late Model division in 2025. 

Travis Downey – Street Stock: In one of the roughest divisions at Stafford, Travis Downey finishes all 17 events on track in the Street Stock division in 2025 to score his second consecutive division championship.
