Seekonk Speedway Victory Punctuates Career Milestone and Celebration of WaterWizz’s First-Ever Halloween Entertainment Park

In a season-ending thriller that will go down in the speedway’s history, David Darling cemented his place as one of New England’s most accomplished short-track drivers by capturing his ninth career Pro Stock championship and 96th career Seekonk win (95 Pro Stock wins and 1 Truck win). No other driver in the speedway’s storied history has reached the nine championship mark.

Darling’s title came in daring style on the final night of competition, where he outdueled a stacked field under the lights in front of an electric crowd. The victory not only secured his record-setting championship but also served as a showcase for his sponsor, WaterWizz, which is launching its first-ever Halloween Entertainment Park on October 4th.

A Record for the Ages

Darling’s ninth championship pushes him into uncharted territory at the speedway, where his name is already etched among the legends. Known for his consistency, precision, and determination, he capped the season with a statement win that highlighted his skill under pressure.

“It still feels surreal,” Darling said after the race. “To capture this ninth championship, in front of family, friends, and so many fans who have supported me for years, is something I’ll never forget. To do just as our sponsor WaterWizz launches its Halloween Festival called HalloWizz makes it even more special.”

HalloWizz: A Two-Part Halloween Experience

Darling’s race car carried the WaterWizz sponsorship on its panels, to promote the park and its October 4th transformation into a Halloween destination offering families safe fun in the afternoon and thrill-seekers a chilling adventure after dark.

·  Family Fall Festival (4:00–6:30 p.m.): Families can enjoy safe and seasonal activities, including the Spooky Trick-or-Treat Trail Maze with candy stations, Freddy’s Pumpkin Patch, and silly-but-spooky carnival games.

·  Haunted Attractions (6:30 p.m. onward): For guests ages 12 and up, the park transforms into a darker, more thrilling Halloween adventure featuring Hellgate HousePigman’s Corn Maze, chilling concession specials, and more. A Haunted Ticket includes access to both the daytime family festival and the nighttime haunted park.

The dual celebration of Darling’s racing triumph and HalloWizz’s grand opening underscores a unique moment for the Darling Group — blending motorsports excellence with a new Wareham tradition.

By the Numbers: Darling’s Championship Legacy

·  9 career Pro Stock championships at Seekonk Speedway — most all-time.

·  Championship-clinching win came on the final night of the 2025 season.

·  Only driver to reach nine titles in the division’s history.

·  96 Seekonk wins – 95 Pro Stock wins and a truck win.

A Champion On and Off the Track

Darling’s commitment to competition mirrors his approach as a business leader: daring, disciplined, and deeply rooted in community. As he celebrated with his crew in Victory Lane, the symbolism of the WaterWizz – HalloWizz car wasn’t lost on fans or competitors. On the eve of a major new venture at Water Wizz, Darling proved once again why he is a champion — on the track, and in the opportunities he creates for his community.

HalloWizz opens to the public on October 4th at Water Wizz, 3031 Cranberry Highway in East Wareham.
