  1. Well, the seat in the NASCAR Cup #48 will be open soon, and Preece has got to be a top candidate to fill that seat. Ryan is a perfect match with Hendrick Motorsports and the 48. Ryan needs better cars.

    Perfect.

  2. Hey Shawn..
    Thought it was a great interview.
    But dareals comment got me to thinking about a couple of things from that interview not asked, or, I missed

    So, please correct me if I’m wrong!
    My understanding is that the 60 currently has a Ware charter lease for this year only. It is also is my understanding that this particular charter is also under suit by legacy motorsports for this year for whatever reason. (Hard for average guy to follow)
    So maybe you Can’t answer this but ill ask anyway,…..
    Does the 60 have a charter for next year, (2026)
    and, is Preece already signed to drive the 60 in 2026? Just haven’t seen that in print yet, but disclosure, dont have facebook. Very sorry if I missed a memo …Thanks!

    According to Jayski “There are no big changes expected in 202[6?]. The team is using a leased charter from Rick Ware Racing in 2025. They are expected to use the other Rick Ware Charter in 2026.
    Preece joined the team in 2025 . Kroger will be a sponsor of all three RFK Fords through the season.(11-19-2024)”

  4. Sharpie Fan;
    Thank you! I’m not sure how I missed that as I usually look at the Jayski thread.
    This whole charter thing still making my head hurt as well. Last ruling I saw was in Nascar’s favor. So I’m clueless as to where 23xi and others now stand with this.
    Thanks again Sharpie!
