  1. I completely overlooked and did not make the connection, that the second date for seekonk for the tour, falls on the usual time frame for open wheel Wednesday. Interesting.
So sure , while a fan of the tour, I love Tri-track at seekonk. I just think they are a better show there. I’m still a fan of heat races and a consi, and tri-track always has a boatload of cars show for that event. I know I’ll have blowback on that, as Matt dominates in tri-track at that place. But always good racing. Does anyone have any preference on the tour vs tri-track for the traditional open wheel Wednesday?
Conjecture here. If Matt runs the tour race there this year, would it be the red 60 or the black Pee-Dee? Not being an expert on car differences, I’d assume the PeeDee. Would Matt be as dominant against the 1, 64, 51, and I’m hoping with the new schedule, maybe the 16 runs the season? Just hot stove talk. Great interview Shawn. Loved how the JDV question got dodged. Smoke?

  2. Suitcase Jake says

Say it isn’t so .. No Open Wheel Wednesday …!!???? I saw the same thing Bobf… 2 Tri Track races 2 Tour Races at Seekonk … but the Open Wheel Wednesday show is gone … That Race has been a fixture at Seekonk for how many years ..?? Big Money will really be raking in some Big Money on those 4 shows…
it will be the RED 60 for Tri Track & Black 60 Pee Dee for Whelen Tour… Silk has had more bad luck at Seekonk than good luck over the years ….
