What’s new gets old … but then can it be new again?

In October of 2014 Bruce Bemer was the high bidder at foreclosure auction for the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.

Since Bemer took control of the Speedbowl, management of the facility has been a revolving door of faces with no individual or group finding a way to establish a foundation of stability before another new face came along to start from scratch.

People have jokingly said for years that the place is cursed, but with each passing year the idea that some overarching power is at work against the Speedbowl becomes ever more plausible.

And now what’s happening?
