And maybe those around the Whelen Modified Tour didn’t even have this case on their radar. I mean, this was about the tippy top of NASCAR right, not some grassroots regional division.
Well, the reality is, had this case seen its way through to the end and a jury decision, it could have very likely led to a judge making a decision about breaking up the business of NASCAR. And a decision like that would have likely had repercussions far beyond just NASCAR’s top level Cup Series.
