
As offseason’s have gone recently at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl, it’s been a seemingly typical offseason this year.
For most short tracks these days one season ends and usually within a month or two there’s an announced schedule for the next season. The norm at the Speedbowl most years seems to be the season ends and then competitors don’t hear anything from track management about the next season for months and months. And by early January competitors begin taking to social media begging for a schedule and rulebook.
And we’re in the “begging on social media” phase right now. But, it does sound like one very big change could be on the horizon at the shoreline oval.
