(Press release from Jacob Perry Racing)

NASCAR Tour-Type Modified driver Jacob Perry has officially announced a new team partnership with JT Motorsports to compete in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event on March 27th at Martinsville Speedway. Perry will pilot the No. 99 NASCAR Whelen Tour Modified, joining forces with 1990 Modified Tour Champion Jamie Tomaino and the family-owned JT Motorsports organization.
The event will mark Perry’s first career start at Martinsville Speedway and his first NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour appearance of the 2026 season at one of the most historic short tracks in American motorsports. The race will be streamed live worldwide on the FloRacing app.
“I’m super excited for the opportunity to work with Jamie and JT Motorsports,” said Perry. “They’re a family-operated deal, very similar to where I come from, and I think we’re going to be plug and play. To have the opportunity to work with Jamie, who is a Tour Champion (1990) and a previous winner at Martinsville, is an honor. I’m really excited to get on track for the first time in 2026 at such a historic venue.”
Perry’s Martinsville effort will be supported by a strong group of marketing partners, including Maurice Enterprises, Simpson Race Products, Valenti Family of Dealerships, PFC Brakes, Klas Motorsports, and Tony’s Competition Engines.
Additional marketing partnership opportunities remain available for the March 27th Martinsville event. Businesses interested in joining Perry’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour program are encouraged to reach out to be part of one of the sport’s most prestigious venues.
