
Anthony Flannery of East Hampton scored victory in the 35-lap SK Modified feature Saturday at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.
Rob Janovic Jr. of Waterford was second and Keith Rocco of Berlin third.
It was Flannery’s 11th career SK Modified victory at the Speedbowl and his 50th win at the track overall. Flannery also has 17 Late Model wins and 22 Legend car wins at the shoreline oval.
The victory moved Flannery into the division points lead after two races this season. Flannery leads second place Todd Owen by three points. Owen was fourth on Saturday.
Jason Palmer topped the 30-lap Late Model feature. It was Palmer’s 56th Late Model win at the track and his 109 victory overall at Waterford. Palmer sits second on the track’s all-time win list behind Rocco (157 wins).
Glen Thomas Jr. of West Bridgewater, Mass. was second and Diego Monahan of Waterford third.
Robert Bloxsom III of Stratford topped the field in the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature.
Rookie Vinnie Rappoccio of Southington was second and Bob Charland of Stafford third.
Chad Baxter of Pascoag, R.I. won the 25-lap Street Stock feature. Al Stone III of Durham was second and Greg Moran Jr. of Preston third.
Andrew Krzemiński of East Hampton won the 25-lap Mini Stock feature. John Bavolacco of Stratford was second and Sam Mesick of East Lyme third.
Charles Beal of Ledyard won the 25-lap Truck feature. Andrew Pellegrini of North Grosvenordale was second and Jaysin Beal of Ledyard third.
