$20,000 Purse Up For Grabs In 66th Annual Garden State Classic 125 Saturday At Wall Stadium

$3,000+ In Bonus & Contingency Money Also Up For Grabs For Modified Competitors

Wall Township, NJ – The cars and stars of the Wall Stadium NASCAR Modifieds will compete in the 66th Annual Garden State Classic 125 this Saturday, June 13th with a $20,000 purse up for grabs which includes $5,000 to the race winner. Over $3,000 is also up for grabs in lap and contingency bonus money as of press time.

“The Garden State Classic is one of the crown jewels at Wall Stadium, the list of guys that have won it is incredible from Don Stives to Gil Hearne to Jimmy Spencer, Martin Truex Sr. and Jamie Tomaino. If you won the Garden State Classic, you are a Wall Stadium legend,” said Wall Stadium Director of Race Operations Pete Maletto.

The race winner will take home $5,000 with $2,500 going to the runner-up. Third place will earn $1,500 with the 10th place driver taking home $600 and drivers earning $400 just to start the 125-lap affair.

An added Open Practice session has been scheduled for this coming Friday, June 12th from 4pm-8pm. The cost is $100 per car and $25 per crew member. Email [email protected] to reserve your spot. Free camping on the speedway grounds will also be allowed over the course of the weekend to all who wish to take part.

Race fans will also have the opportunity to add a special Garden State Classic commemorative T-shirt to their collection, with an exclusive event design currently in development.

The June 13 racing program will also feature the first of three Legends Car Triple Crown Summer Slam events, paying $500 to win and $100 to start, with a three race point fund totaling $2,500. The Triple Crown Summer Slam is proudly presented by Tyspeed, MetJoes Racing, Natural Design Company, and Belair Transportation Services.

Rounding out the evening’s action will be the ATQMRA TQ Midgets and O’Shea’s Auto Repair Factory Stocks, with all divisions competing under the NASCAR Local Series banner presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts.

Adult (18+) admission on June 13th is $35, Seniors (62+) and Military w/ID are $30, Kids (7-16) are $20 while Children 6 & Under are Free. Pit Gates will open at 1pm, with grandstands opening at 3pm with racing set for 6pm.
