(Press release from BayCoast Bank)

What does 175 years of community banking look like? For BayCoast Bank, it means showing up where the community gathers—on Main Streets, in local businesses, and now, under the lights at Seekonk Speedway.
As part of its 175th anniversary celebration, BayCoast Bank is proud to announce its primary sponsorship of local racing legend Dave Darling and his No. 52 Pro Stock for the 2026 season at Seekonk Speedway.
The BayCoast Bank 52 Pro Stock will proudly feature BayCoast’s commemorative 175th anniversary logo as Darling competes weekly, beginning with the June 6 event. The season promises to be a historic one as Darling, a 9-time Seekonk Speedway Pro Stock champion, is chasing both a record-setting 10th championship and his 100th career win at the Speedway. With 98 victories to date, he is just two wins away from reaching the milestone.
A 5-time Division 1 Massachusetts NASCAR State Champion, Darling is widely recognized as one of the most accomplished drivers in Seekonk Speedway history. Beyond the racetrack, he is a successful local entrepreneur and longtime BayCoast commercial banking customer. His businesses include Seekonk Grand Prix in Seekonk, along with multiple hotel and restaurant properties across the region, and Water Wizz waterpark in East Wareham.
“At BayCoast Bank, 175 years has always been about people, relationships, and the strength of our community,” said John McMahon, Senior Vice President, Community Engagement at BayCoast Bank. “Partnering with Dave—someone who represents dedication, entrepreneurship, and local pride—brings all of that together in a way that’s both meaningful and exciting. We’re proud to be part of this milestone season and to celebrate alongside our customers and neighbors.”
The partnership reflects the strength of BayCoast’s relationships within the community, uniting a longtime business customer, local fans, and the shared excitement of a milestone season at Seekonk Speedway.
“This is incredibly special for me,” said Dave Darling. “BayCoast Bank has been a trusted partner to my businesses for years, and I’m proud to represent them on the track during such an important milestone. To chase 100 wins and another championship with the support of this community behind me makes it even more meaningful.”
Fans are encouraged to come out and cheer on Darling as he continues his pursuit of a milestone season at Seekonk Speedway.
