STAFFORD – Rain, rain, rain and more rain.
Welcome to Friday night at Stafford Motor Speedway.
The storms hit Stafford Motor Speedway at about 4 p.m. and they hit hard, as in a wild lightning show to start to start things off.
The dramatic lightning was followed up by immense downpours.
After about a half hour of rain Stafford Motor Speedway officials decided to pull the plug on Friday’s racing card, which included the Valenti Modified Racing Series Lincoln Tech 80.
The Valenti Modified Racing Series will make up the event on Sept. 14 at Stafford.
