STAFFORD – Jim Peterson drove away from Patrick Townsend in the closing laps to win the 30-lap Late Model feature Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway.

It was the first victory for Peterson, of Monson, Mass., since May 20, 2011.
Townsend, of Springfield, Mass., held on for second. Woody Pitkat of Stafford was third.
After finishing second in the first Limited Late Model feature of the night, DJ Burnham made the step up, swapping spots at the front with the previous race winner.
Burnham beat Cory Casagrande to the line to win the 20-lap feature.
Casagrande, who won the 15-lap feature for the division earlier in the evening, was second. Andrew Hayes of Enfield was second.
