Larry Barnett Talks Frustrations, Returning To Victory Lane And Issues Facing Thompson


THOMPSON – On Thursday at Thompson Speedway, Larry Barnett, the all-time winningest Street Stock racer at Thompson got his first victory in the division since October 2021.

After the victory we talked with Larry about getting back to victory lane, his struggles in 2022 and concerns for the track’s future on a night that feature low attendance in the grandstands and the pits.

When asked what it felt like looking out a near empty grandstand after the win Barnett said: “It hurts my heart.”
