As Popeye the Sailor used to say”I’ve had all I can takes, and I can’t takes no more”Shawn if you would Please Indulge Me.Ive been going to New England Race Tracks all of my life,Since the age of 5.There was a time I loved racing I never considered myself a Driver,Although I have driven a Race Car.I have been A Car Owner, Sponsor,Crew Member,Fan and everything in between I am now 61 years old.I thought I had seen it all until tonight at the Bowl.Through various Owners,Managers,Regimes,Over the years I have looked the other way.Realized it’s not my sandbox.Just be supportive.God forbid we see the place shuttered like my Beloved Plainville Stadium.Riverside Park,Westboro,Danbury and others.Im done……throwing in the towel at Waterford.I will spend my money from noe on elsewhere.Hetr are the facts as i know them.Since the Bemer Regime,Various GMs and Promoters in name only who have ZERO Control,Say,Opinion,Ability to make decisions or otherwise. There will be no kore improvements. No Scorers Tower, Additional Grandstand,No real concessions,No decent restrooms. And that’s ok……I no longer care.Tonight,Lousy Car Counts in All Divisions.Waited the Entire NEMA Feature for 2 Cheeseburgers that were NOT worth the 20.00 i paid.I was one of 3 people at this Particular Food Truck. When I was in the Pit Area, witnessed a Driver snorting something out of a Piece of Paper he Produced from his pocket.Possible Decongestent? Watched a Grey Pitbull Dog walk the entire length of the Grandstands Vomiting as it walked and walking in it.Then watched as unattended kids played in it with cats and chalk. So dogs at the races now? When did that become a thing? And for the past month have watched the Frontstrech “Garden” soon to be Jungle, flourish and grow to the point where it’s actually affecting the view from the Grandstands You can’t prune or Weed Wack?I’m sure it would be smart to leave the Roots and Truck as they are probably helping to stem the water runoff from the Parking Area.Watching certain cars jump restarts with no yellow thrown because there is favoritism.Seeing cars use un inventoried tires when this is clearly a rules violation.Again nothing done. The failures and incompetence are visible and unchecked.Thats why No Cars,No Fans. The Lemmings and the Fools will always show up,No matter what.I will mo longer be a part if it.And admit…..i was one of them up until tonight. No one wants to say it,so i just did.Its on life support and sad to see.Gooddbye Speedbowl. It was nice knowing you.Thank You for Letting me Vent Shawn.

  2. Ok Mark but didn’t you already post a long goodbye letter to the Speedbowl last year?
    How was Seekonk for you?
You said you were bringing “your team” there ( I know you. You don’t have a team.) and not coming back to the Bowl.
Your post had some credibility last year, looking past the somewhat unhinged writing style.
This time around your thoughts come across as straight outta the looney bin. 🤡 🤡🤡 But thanks for the entertainment. Same time next year?
