NASCAR announced its 2025 Cup Series schedule on Thursday.
NASCAR had previously announced its new exhibition Busch Clash event at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C. for Feb. 2 and the first event in Mexico City on June 15.
Locally the big change involves New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
The annual NHMS event will be moving from a mid-summer slot to Sept. 21, 2025 which returns the 1.058-mile Loudon, N.H. oval to the Cup Series playoffs. The NHMS event will be the fourth of 10 playoff events, and will serve as the opening event of the round of 12 for the Cup Series playoffs.
It was also announced Thursday that the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series would return to NHMS in 2025 and also make its first appearance at Lime Rock Park.
