— The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series hosts the fifth of eight events on their 2024 schedule at Star Speedway.
— Sunday’s event mark’s the 12th visit to Star Speedway since 2014 for the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series. Jake Johnson won the 2023 and 2024 series events at Star Speedway. Matt Hirschman leads all drivers with five series victories at Star. Other series winners at Star include Jon McKennedy (2), Ron Silk and Todd Patnode.
— Sunday’s race marks the first time the series will headline the Star Classic weekend at Star Speedway, the first time the series will run a Sunday event at Star and the first time the series will run a September event at Star. The series ran a July event at Star each year annually from 2016 to 2023. The series has also run events in May, June and August at Star since 2014
— The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series opened its 11th season on May 26 at Thunder Road International Speedbowl. Stephen Kopcik won his first Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series event that day.
— The second event of the 2024 season was the 19th running of Open Wheel Wednesday at Seekonk Speedway on June 27. Brian Robie led the field to the checkered flag in the event but post race inspection found issues with Robie’s motor. Robie was disqualified from the victory, giving Teddy Hodgdon IV the win and the $20,000 first place prize.
— Jake Johnson celebrated his third Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series victory in the divison’s inaugural event at White Mountain Motorplex in North Woodstock, N.H. on July 27.
— Matt Hirschman won the Belltown Motors/Fowlers Auto Wrecking 100 on Aug. 10 at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl
— Teddy Hodgdon IV leads the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series standings. Woody Pitkat is second, 18 points off the lead. Matt Hirschman and Stephen Kopcik are tied for third in the standings, 19 points off the lead. Ronnie Williams sits fifth in the standings, 20 points behind Hodgdon. — Matt Swanson won the second Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series event of the season on June 28, 2023 at Seekonk Speedway.

— Matt Hirschman won in the division’s first visit of the season to the New London-Waterford Speedbowl on Aug. 12, 2023.
