Recent Wall Stadium Speedway Operator Arrested At The Track Saturday

According to the Wall Township, N.J. police, former Wall Stadium Speedway operator Emily Krause was arrested Saturday morning at the track after barricading herself at the facility. 

According to the police, the 37-year old Krause was arrested at 9:39 am Saturday at Wall Stadium Speedway.  

The Krause Family, which had operated Wall Stadium since 2011, announced last year that the 2025 season would be the last year they would operate the facility. It was recently announced that a new operating group had signed a lease agreement to run the facility in 2026.

RaceDayCT reported yesterday through sources that the new leaseholders went to the track Friday and were blocked from entering the property by Emily Krause.

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – At approximately 9:39 AM today, January 17, 2026, the Wall Township Police Department responded to Wall Stadium Speedway for a report of a defiant trespasser involving a former tenant and the facility’s new management.

Upon arrival, patrol officers met with management and the new leaseholders. They reported that Emily Krause, 37, of Neptune, NJ, was on the property after being previously advised that she was no longer permitted on the premises. Investigation revealed that Krause’s lease at the facility had expired on January 15, 2026.

Prior to police arrival, Krause reportedly placed locks on the fences surrounding the office and track access areas, restricting management’s access to the facility. She then entered the office and track overlook area, where she locked herself inside the building.

Krause refused to cooperate with officers or vacate the building after being repeatedly advised she was trespassing. Following her refusal to comply, patrols were forced to make entry into the office.

Krause was subsequently arrested and charged with Defiant Trespass and Obstruction. She was charged on a summons, processed, and released pending a future date in Wall Township Municipal Court.

Patrolman Joseph Liddy was the arressting officer.
