Add Andrew Molleur’s name to the entry list for the NAPA Spring Sizzler at Stafford Speedway.
Molleur confirmed exclusively to RaceDayCT Friday that he will be in the Hummel Motorsports No. 11 Tour Type Modified entry for the 54th NAPA Spring Sizzler on April 26 at Stafford Speedway.
“We just put that together within the last 48 hours,” Molleur told RaceDayCT. “The Sizzler is obviously a very popular and prestigious race. A lot of guys show up because the want to win that race so bad. It’s a pretty big deal to win that race, especially at a track like Stafford. To be a part of it, it means a lot. I’m just glad that I’m going to be there driving. Sometimes when one door shuts another one opens that you didn’t even realize was there.”
Molleur was the 2024 SK Modified champion at Stafford Speedway driving for Petty Cash Motorsports.
Molleur had been expected to run on the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series full-time in 2026 for Petty Cash Motorsports, but he parted ways with the team earlier this week.
Molleur, who was the 2025 SK Modified champion at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl, is competing full-time on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour for Danny Watts Racing this season in addition to running selected SK Modified events at Stafford and the New London-Waterford Speedbowl for his family owned team.
Hummel Motorsports also recently announced that Matt Vassar will compete for the team’s SK Modified ride this season weekly at Stafford Speedway.
