It was the seventh consecutive victory for Kopec, of Palmer, Mass., and his seventh win of the season overall.

David Webb of New Milford was second and Jay Goff of Stafford third.

Kopec held off some heady charges from Zach Aszklar

“We’ve had our times on the track,” Kopec said. “From my perspective, I thought he was just driving over his head. I’m sure he didn’t meant it, he was just trying to get me. He just ran over me and then he was kind of dive bombing me.”

Frank Cardile of Bolton won the second 15-lap feature SK Light Modified feature of the night.

Tony Membrino Jr. of Plantsville was second and Tyler Hines of West Haven third.

In the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature, Cory Casagrande of Stafford used a last lap pass of DJ Burnham to win for the second consecutive week. Burnham, of East Hartford, was second and Josh Wood of Palmer, Mass. third.

In the 15-lap DARE Stock feature, the second race of the night for the division, Monte Gibbs of Killingworth scored his first career victory. Austin Bessette of Stafford was second and Albert Saunders of Stafford third.
