Valenti Modified Racing Series Returns To All Three State Short Tracks In 2013

The Valenti Modified Racing Series will celebrate its 10th year in operation in 2013 with a 19-event schedule that will include eight events at state short tracks.

The series kicks off its 2013 campaign with an event at the Waterford Speedbowl on April 7, part of the track’s opening weekend for short track racing in Connecticut.

The division returns to Waterford in Aug. 10.

Stafford Motor Speedway will go from hosting the series two times in 2012 to three events in 2013. Stafford will host Modified Racing Series events on June 21, Aug. 30 and Sept. 13.

Despite the fact that Thompson International Speedway management has yet to confirm their plans for weekly or special event action in 2013, the Valenti Modified Racing Series has confirmed three scheduled visits to the track in 2013.

The series will run Sunday events at Thompson on May 19 ad July 28 and will once again be a part of the track’s season ending World Series weekend on Oct. 19.

Seekonk (Mass.) Speedway hosts the series three times next year with events on June 8, Aug. 17 and Oct. 5.

The Valenti Modified Racing Series returns to Maine in 2013 with two events, running at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, on Aug. 3 and at Oxford Plains Speedway on July 20.

Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. will host three events with races scheduled for April 20, July 6 and Aug. 24. Lee USA Speedway in Lee, N.H. will have events on June 28 and Oct. 13. Canaan Fair Speedway in Canaan, N.H. will host a race for the series on July 13.
