NASCAR Announces All-American And Touring Series Banquet Dates For December

NASCAR short track racing from coast to coast will be celebrated on back to back nights in mid-December in Charlotte, N.C.

NASCAR announced Friday that the Whelen All-American Series awards banquet and the Night of Champions Touring Series awards banquet will be held Dec. 13 and 14 respectively at the NASCAR Hall of Fame and Charlotte Convention Center.

The Whelen All-American Series banquet will honor champions from the the 55 NASCAR sanctioned short tracks across the United States and Canada.

On Dec. 14 honorees from the from the K&N Pro Series East and West, Whelen Modified Tour, Whelen Southern Modified Tour, Canadian Tire Series, Mexico’s Toyota Series and Euro-Racecar Touring Series will be celebrated.

“Holding our two NASCAR Home Tracks awards ceremonies at the NASCAR Hall of Fame is the perfect setting to recognize the soul of NASCAR,” George Silbermann, NASCAR vice president of regional and touring series said in a release. “Celebrating the young talent whose passion build this sport over these two events are highlights each year.”

Both the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Awards and the NASCAR Night of Champions Touring Series Awards will be streamed live on NASCARHomeTracks.com.
