The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour’s annual visit to Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. will have to wait until July.
With a forecast calling for rain most of the day Saturday, officials from the Whelen Modified Tour and Monadnock Speedway made the decision Friday afternoon to postpone Saturday’s event.
The new date for the running of the Town Fair Tire Whitcom 200 is July 27.
The schedule of events for July 27 will remain as was originally scheduled for tomorrow.
The Whelen Modified Tour will return to action with the running of the TSI Harley-Davidson 125 at Stafford Motor Speedway on May 24.
