New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Performer Of The Week Award: Ted Christopher

Each week during the 2013 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly division competitors at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson International Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.

Each week’s winner will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel. Drivers must have a Sunoco Race Fuel decal on their car to be eligible for the weekly award.

It’s a Performer of the Week Award as much about what took place last Friday night as it is about what has taken place at Stafford Motor Speedway on so many Friday nights over the last 27 years.

On Friday night Ted Christopher of Plainville hit another huge milestone in a laundry list of huge milestones he’s achieved at the historic half-mile facility.

The track’s all-time winningest driver recorded his 100th career SK Modified victory Friday. Christopher scored his first SK Modified win at the track on May 23, 1986.

For his efforts, Christopher is the recipient of this week’s New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Performer of the Week Award.
