Moments after Albert Saunders scored his first career victory in the Limited Late Model division at Stafford, his twin brother followed up by grabbing the victory in the 15-lap DARE Stock feature.

Cliff Saunders was the beneficiary on the last lap when race leader Brandon Michael and second place Dave Secore Jr. came together in turn two on the final lap.

Johnny Walker of Ludlow, Mass. was second and Kyle Casagrande of Stafford third.

It was the first victory of the season for Cliff Saunders, of Stafford, the reigning DARE Stock division champion.

“The car was pretty good tonight,” Cliff Saunders said. “It’s been off the last couple weeks but it was really good tonight. I don’t think I was as good as [Dave Secore Jr.] or [Brandon Michael], but it’s pretty good to get the win. I feel bad Brandon, I think he definitely had the best car tonight and probably should have won the race, but we’ve got to take the wins any way we can get them.”
