Stafford Notes: Ronnie Williams Wins SK Light Mods; Albert Saunders And Brandon Michael Also Get Wins

STAFFORD – Ronnie Williams had the dominant car and made up hold up, winning the 20-lap SK Light Modified feature Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway.

It was the second victory of the season for Williams, of Tolland.

Tony Membrino Jr. of Plantsville was second and Tyler Hines of North Haven third.

Albert Saunders got by Austin Bessette for the lead on the final lap to win the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway.

It was the second victory of the season for Saunders, of Stafford.

Bessette, of Stafford, held on for second and Duane Provost of Springfield, Mass. was third.

Brandon Michael of Granville, Mass. got his first career victory in the 15-lap DARE Stock feature. Kelsey Rottino of Willimantic was second and Dave Secore Jr. of Union third.
