It was the third victory of the season for Hutchings, of Salem, and launched him from second into the points lead.

“We had a great car,” Hutchings said. “Obviously starting up second, we’ve had a few bad runs. Last week we broke transmission. Earlier in the season we broke a fuel pump. I’ve had two gremlins this year and those are our only bad finishes. Hats off to my crew and my engine builder and everybody else. The car is phenomenal.”

Dwayne Dorr of Ledyard was second and Al Stone III of Durham third.

Giovanni Giarratana of Newington won the 20-lap Legends feature. Nick Ladyga of Voluntown was second and Mike Christopher Jr. of Wolcott third.

Ian Brew of Wood River Junction, R.I. won the 25-lap Mini Stock feature. Ken Cassidy Jr. of Lisbon was second and Joe Liskiewicz of Preston third.

Duane Noll of Monroe won the 25-lap New England Truck Series event. Zach Sylvester of Lebanon was second and Keith Rocco of Wallingford.
