WATERFORD – Since late April there’s been one constant near the front of the field every single week in the Late Model division at the Waterford Speedbowl.

When it comes to the podium, it means Keith Rocco is there.
And that was the case again Saturday when Rocco won the 30-lap Late Model feature at the Waterford Speedbowl.
Ray Christian III of Groton was second and Jason Palmer of Berlin third.
It was the ninth Late Model victory of the season for Rocco and his 15th consecutive podium finish in the division.
Over the last 15 races Rocco has seven victories, five seconds and three thirds. In 18 total races this season Rocco’s only finish outside the top three was a 10th place on April 20.
Rocco went by Christian for second with 26 laps left and used a run off of turn four to go past Palmer for the lead with 24 laps left.
“This Crazy Horse chassis has so much drive off the corner,” Rocco said. “It just launches us off the corner and always always always a great car underneath us.”
