It was the seventh victory of the season for the rookie from Roxbury.

Griswold, of Vernon, held on for second and Troy Talman of Oxford, Mass. was third.

Dowling went to the outside of Griswold on lap 15 and looked to get around him for the lead using the outside lane, but Griswold was up to the task of defending.

On lap 19, with Talman ready to jump into the fray in third, Dowling went under Griswold in turn two and came off the corner with the lead.

“He raced a good race,” Dowling said. “He knew I was coming. He saw me going high and I just kept working him high. I knew I had to cross him up. I saw two [laps] to go and I saw [Troy Talman] there and I saw the room and I said ‘I’ve got to cross him up then’ and I did.”

Josh Wood of Palmer, Mass. won the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature. Justin Bren of Monson, Mass. was second and D.J. Burnham of East Hartford third.

Frank L’Etoile of Wethersfield won the 15-lap DARE Stock feature. Jeremy Lavoie of Windsor Locks was second and Kyle Casagrande of Stafford was third.
