Better late than never right?
It was confirmed to RaceDayCT Tuesday that a banquet to celebrate the 2014 racing season at the Waterford Speedbowl will be held on March 7.
Local racer Bill McNeil is spearheading organization of the event and backing the event financially, with organizational assistance from Waterford Speebdowl owner Terry Eames and Speedbowl track management.
McNeil said any profits from the event will be donated to a charity, to be decided in the coming weeks.
The event will take place, as it has traditionally in recent years, at the Groton Inn and Suites.
More information concerning details of the banquet will be released in coming days.
