Comments

  1. What kinda tour is this with only 22 cars entered?

On a side note, I see

“SUB 7.27.24 – Walls Platinum Series at White Mountain (NH)” as an option on racing America.

Will this include the tri track race? or are they in the year 2010 again this week?

  2. Busy weekend for some of the drivers and crews Friday night , Stafford . Haul to White Mountain for Saturday. Can’t make Stafford , will be at White Mountain .

  3. I would think if they were going to broadcast the tri track race they would mention it on their web site.

I just spec’d out a trip to White Mountain. I haven’t been there in several years and have fond memories of the place. The math says Stafford for me this weekend. Maybe Seekonk Saturday for PASS. I really enjoyed the ACT race earlier this year at the konk. Get out and enjoy the races. The weather looks promising for the weekend.

  4. CSG,
Look under July 27 on this schedule and the White Mountain description reads: “The Walls Platinum Series Late Models runs Round #2 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in New Hampshire. Monaco Tri-Track Modifieds, Flying Tigers, Strictly Stock Minis also racing.”

  5. Fast Eddie says

The WMMP should be really good. I was psyched to see any kind of a Modified race on their schedule originally, but unfortunately I can’t go. The WMT races i saw there in 2020 were great. I’m missing the “double” this weekend but I’ll be at Stafford.

  6. Drunkenirishman says

We are going to white mountain… It has been on our bucket list since COVID…anybody have any advice or pointers on best parking, seating or local “musts?”

  7. I’ll be at White Mountain. It’ll be my first visit. Would’a been at Stafford for tonight’s event if it were held on its original date. Awesome that they have 27 cars entered. I’m not sure if these events being back-to-back influenced the entry list all that much. The only drivers who have done both MMTTS races this year but isn’t doing White Mountain are Brian Robie (which, yeah), and Nick Halkowicz, and neither of them are at Stafford. Maybe George Bessette, Mike Christopher, David Arute, Austin Beers, and Jacob Perry would have made the trek, but Arute, Beers, and Bessette didn’t go to Thunder Road, and Christopher is driving for Jimmy Paige who hasn’t entered any MMTTS events. I thought Jacob Perry was running a bunch of races for Ed Bagot this year but haven’t seen that car in a little while. So I dunno… maybe the tracks way up north just aren’t a great fit for modified teams.
